Evidence of income/expenditure is required to assess suitability for charity assistance and this assessment is usually carried out at a home visit. All offers of financial assistance are made at the Trustee’s discretion.
Applicants are usually in receipt of at least one of the following benefits:
- Universal Credit
- Child Tax Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- Employment Support Allowance (ESA)
- Income Support
- Housing Benefit
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Pension Credit
