The Essentials Grant can provide everyday items and services for families and individuals:
- Foodbank and supermarket vouchers
- Clothing and shoes
- Furniture and carpets
- Kitchen appliances and household goods
- School uniforms
- Payment of services
- Debt and arrears assistance
Who is this grant suitable for?
This grant is suitable for anyone over 18 who has lived in Byfleet or West Byfleet for over 1 year and in receipt of a low-income benefit.

Family Support Grant
The Family Support Grant is designed to help families in financial need. Regular monthly payments can help towards the cost of raising a family, household bills, debts and arrears.
Who is this grant suitable for?
This grant is suitable for families with children under 18 years old and in receipt of low-income benefits. The Family Support Program is suitable for families who are able to budget, but struggle with the costs of raising a family. Applicants must be over 18 years of age and have lived in Byfleet or West Byfleet for over 1 year.

Short Term Support Grant
The Short Term Support Grant can help families and individuals who find themselves in temporary financial difficulty. Regular monthly payments over a short period of time can help with family breakdowns, loss of work, debt and other short-term financial problems.
Who is this grant suitable for?
This grant is suitable for families or individuals who have lived in Byfleet or West Byfleet for over 1 year and find themselves in a temporary financial difficulty. Applicants must be able to budget and usually in receipt of a low-income benefit.

Bursary Award
A Bursary Award can purchase educational equipment for students or help towards course fees.
Bursaries are available to students who have lived in Byfleet or West Byfleet for over 1 year. A bursary is usually awarded to a student where the family are in receipt of at least one of the following benefits:
- Universal Credit
- Child Tax Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
- Employment Support Allowance (ESA)

All grants are subject to financial assessment and awarded at the discretion of the Trustees.

Carelines
Working in partnership with Woking Borough Council, we are able to offer free Careline emergency call pendants (community alarm). These are for individuals who wish to remain living independently in their own homes but need reassurance that emergency help is at hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Carelines are offered to those in need and who meet our financial criteria (usually in receipt of Pension Credits or other welfare benefits). Please use the contact form to find out more.
